  1. There will be another fighterz upload today as well so no worries on that front! Let me know what you all thought about guilty gear regardless of your past experience levels with the series, Im not kidding when I said I am super curious as to how this game will be seen by all audiences!

  2. In my opinion, I don't think this is the way to go. I feel as if the thing that made GG so unique is being stripped away for a game that mimics games that already exist. The gameplay feels a lot more like SFV and in terms of simply anime fighters, UNIST already exists as a very grounded anime fighting game. The main benefit of this simplification would obviously be that casuals or newer players to the series will be able to digest more during play or watching tournaments but even then I don't necessarily agree with the way this is moving. I look back to shit like MvC2 & UMvC3 and literally sitting there watching it like "damn, I have no clue whats going on BUT it looks fucking cool." It was hype as shit and a fun experience despite hardly understanding some of the things on the screen [You can correct me if I'm wrong but I think MvC2 was once like one of the highest grossing fighting games as well].

Ultimately I think they're walking away from their base of loyal players to grab some newer players that likely wont play the game for that long. I hope I'm wrong and I'm down with being surprised when the game releases but as far as I'm concerned the writing is on the walls.
**I'd also like to add that Tekken7 is arguably the hardest fighting game in the scene and it's also the game that consistently brings in more viewers than other fighting games bar maybe smash since a lot of smash players are very dedicated to their game.

  3. Why is this a new video? GG has been destroying its meta every installment since… ever. Testament went from being top three, to not being in the game anymore! GG hates itself, which is terrible because it really had a chance to be one of the greatest 2D fighters of all time.

  4. I don't mind the changes, except for the removal of the quick punches, lows and overheads as combo starters and the air combos being toned down. Having crazy air combos has always been essentially the soul of Guilty Gear. I've played it on and off since Reload and it has never been like this. A few days ago I was thinking "Yeah the only thing that would bring me.back to playing videogames everyday would be a new Guilty Gear" and then they showed it and I'm now really hoping they listen to player feedback

  5. Have they not ever heard of if it ain't broke don't fix it. That hud looks whack as fuck. Lettering looks bland and why is the combo numbers so damn big as well as when it says counter? Took away air combos? Wtf is going on here arcsys? Why does every damn game nowadays appeal to beginner ass casuals who probably ain't even gonna stick around playing the game after a few weeks or a month. This shit is ruining fighting games.

  6. Okay never played any guilty gear so I'm kinda ok with it being simplified a little but basically you don't get any juggle Fiestas and it's more based around exchanging blows
It doesn't sound bad I mean you still get combos, tho not as long, and it becomes more calculating than just hope to launch?
Again never played any guilty gear correct me if I'm wrong
