  1. So the Pokemon can gain exp from not battling, you can feed them exp candy which raises the exp more AND to top off the disgusting tasting ice cream, we add the cherry which is changing natures which buffs the stats of Pokemon which competitive trainers can basically nuke others trainers in battle. Even if I want to put my Pokemon in the box to make sure they don't level to give me a challenge, I can only do this in the Wild area and it's only in the Wild area.
"Oh hey, another player to battle! This is going to be fun!" Immediately all my Pokemon faints by one move from my opponent due to its exp
Nice GF, you made this game WAY too easy, and I thought X was flipping easy and I loved X.

  2. I really like this because you can actually use your ingame team for competitive. You can change their nature and pass on moves without breeding. I'm hoping there is bottle caps still for ivs and something for ev reset like the friendship berries.

  3. Seems like competitive play will be more accessible. That's a good thing. Especially for more casual-like players, without the time to grind.
Also, it will likely reduce the amount of cheated/hacked Pokemon. 'Cause why risk something, if you can just modify the Pokemon in game? And i am pretty sure, that many people WOULD cheat again on their hacked Switches. But who knows… I am not an expert on those topics either way^^

  4. I think I have a good guess at the reason only charmander is the only starter from other games is in the dex. I think it’s because of Leon. Not sure why but only he is symbolized with charizard so maybe in the story we will find out something at release?

  5. The fact that they specify that the first competition will only contain Pokémon from the GALAR Pokédex gives me hope that they’re adding the rest of the Pokémon later.
    Hopefully it’s not empty hope
