  1. Fun fact- those tiny house shrines are actually fairly common in Thailand because the belief is that the ghost while live in the shrine instead of haunting the house. So those tiny shrines could literally be in the yard right outside the front door

  2. "Cut the tree" "But we didn't get the knife!" an Australian is allowed to make these mistakes what with coming from a land famous for its lack of trees but I expected better from a Canadian.

    Edit: You're supposed to make a felling cut on the side of the tree in the direction you wish for it to fall and place a wedge in the mouth of the cut and then make a notch cut (roughly what you see the guy doing in the animation) on the reverse to weaken the structural strength of the tree so as to cause it to collapse in on itself and then slide along the wedge and fall in the direction of the original felling cut.
